IOT & VISION

IoT&Vision proposes hardware (HW) and software (SW) building blocks, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), for the quantification and processing of information, captured by numerous scattered, networked computerized sensors and actuators. The resulting platforms represent standard or optimized solutions for the connected digitalization in Machine to Machine, Industry 4.0, medical and e-health, Aerospace, Building automation, Energy, etc. They contribute to build smart, low latency, dependable and scalable systems in support for the reliable acquisition, transmission and processing of sensor data and commands, toward sustainable solutions, i.e. miniature, ultra-low power (ULP), secure, with a low environmental impact.

These devices are typically interconnected with IT infrastructure (e.g. cloud) through gateways, the internet technologies being the natural federator and the IP protocol suite being the lingua franca.
